Dog of the Month Recipient
Elle is an amazing young dog... she is loyal, loving, very smart and a super.. really super athlete! She gets incredibly joyful when she senses that shes made you happy & she sometimes expresses her happiness by jumping in the air (about shoulder height!) and twirling around... and around YOU.. she does this 3 or 4 times and then lands on her 4 feet and belly looking up at you as if to say NOW WHAT?! She is so much FUN!  Elle learned ROLL OVER & we were both so excited she couldn't do it enough .. although once on 
her back with belly splayed wide open she kinda wanted to hang there for some serious belly rub action! Elle has a great many friends canine and human. She loves to play play play!

Elle is up for just about anything.. anytime! She also LOVES to swim! She tries her little heart out to make you happy & you can SO see just how much she LOVES knowing you are pleased with her! Fabulous, sweetheart of a fun little & very beautiful dog! Elle is a very good watch dog AND she is suspicious of unfamiliar people approaching and can be quite serious in her warning to strangers to stay away.. This has limited her options greatly .. Elle needs to be in a home with an experienced dog handler who will relish in Elle's loyal devotion, sharp quick mind and athletic body.. she absolutely craves learning! We think Elle would LOVE a job and would be really good at it! At her core she is a very sweet loving dog.. ONCE.. and we mean once she knows you.. she will love you for life! In fact she would lay down her life for you!!! This is a dog for someone who wants a fun, very interactive, super talented, incredibly eager, loyal and loving dog.. She is not one who will be satisfied to hang out on the sofa all day.. Elle has things to do and wants to share and fun life with someone who will provide consistent leadership and keep her fabulous brain engaged. Elle is smart as can be and needs mental stimulation. She learns quickly and wants to please her human pack members more than anything.

She enjoys playing with other dogs and plays well as long as they are into having fun! She doesn't like grumpy dogs or bullies.  She has had a ton of different doggie friends who have gone on to be adopted.. but she quickly moves onto the new friends who come. We think Elle used to feel a little sad when her friends got picked but now she sees that new ones come and her human friends are constant so she is a happy girl.. we know there is a perfect home for her and someday soon she will be the one to be picked! In the meantime Elle is a joyful girl and is having a great time with her latest BFF Caliber.. they almost look like twins.. Its been interesting for us to watch Elle adjust her play style to accommodate her different friends, with some she was wild, like with LOKI in video below.. and others like Diggs ( Am Bulldog)  not much contact play but lots of chasing play!  Elle is an awesome and loving dog with LOTS of wonderful qualities to enjoy!! We LOVE her!! 

Good With:

Kids: _If you're in her pack, you can trust her for life. But wouldn't be well suited for a home with a lot of different friends coming & going       

Other Dogs: _ ADORES those she calls her doggie friends.. which is most dogs but rude or dominant dogs not so much!!__

Cats: _____No_they are way too much fun to chase!!_______

Energy Level: Elle knows how to completely chill and relax .. but she needs her awesome brain stimulated and her athletic bod execised!
