Darling wee Archie is like happiness in a bottle.. except he's in a long, low rare red dapple doxie body! Archie is as unique as they come on the outside. His coat is just stunning and those big sappy brown eyes just lure you into his tender, divine soul.
Archie lived his first five years of life kept as stock in a large breeding operation in South Carolina. He lived outside on a dirt floor kennel all this time.. never knowing a warm home or soft bed before we rescued him. Archie has the most wonderful way about him.. when you first meet him he hangs back a bit. He's not quite shy, just waiting for the right moment to come up and make friends. After spending some time with this sweet boy, he'll quickly approach and explore. Archie's signature move is some licks on the hand and under the chin! After that comes with wiggles and tail wags! Sometimes he'll even make himself small and flip on his back in appeasement. So innocent and adorable!
Archie gets along very will with other dogs that are his speed. He won't enjoy a rough and rowdy type of dog, he is quite small after all! Archie has made quick friends with lots of other dogs at the farm including Hopper, Brown and of course his best friend Tuttle!
Archie would make a lovely companion for a lot of household types who are ready for some sunshine in their life!!
