Clover is one angel of a dog! She is a gorgeous sighthound (maybe??) mix.. we think she may have sighthound in her because of her long, sleek pointy nose and thin body type. She’s got a very unique apricot colored and wire but super soft textured coat with adorable pointy satellite ears! This lovely girl was found wondering the streets of Mount Vernon and brought to our friends at Mount Vernon Animal Shelter.  We are not sure of her history before then.. we scoured the lost dog sites and no one claimed her as lost.. so she is OURS!

Clover is one of the most well balanced, calm, sweet and gentle dogs we have ever had walk through Love Dogs! And we are not exaggerating.. She is perfectly potty trained, gets along well with other dogs.. big and small. Her and wee chihuahua Bingo are absolute best friends! Clover is buddies with TJ, Jewel, the resident Pugs and Brownie! What a social, clever girl she is. We’ve observed Clover happily greet and hangout with all every person she has met on the farm! From workmen to even toddler Keaton.. Clover is mellow and affectionate without being intrusive. The most perfect combination in a doggie!
Clover enjoying some playtime with Bingo!
Clover loves hanging with Keaton!
Bubbles, however.. not so much!
You won’t find Clover barking for attention or clambering to get out of her pen.. this sweetie has utmost patience. She is quiet and dignified pretty much all the time! She does get silly and playful, especially when playing in the yard with her friends. She drops into floppy play bows and will always stop by the nearest human to wrap herself around and lean on for some lovin’! Clover is quite affectionate and she’s certainly not shy about wanting to be pet!

Clover loves a good walk, too. She never pulls on the leash and enjoys going wherever you’d like to bring her! Clover has some minor hair loss on her sides and ears… It turns out she has a mild form of alopecia! We do see some new hair growth in those areas so the vet thinks she will regrow some hair at some point!

You’ll see in Clover’s videos and pictures just how sweet and kind her soul is. But when you meet her, it’s an entirely different experience! Her pictures don’t do her justice.. it is impossible not to fall deeply in love with Clover.. and appreciate her for all the amazingness that she is!
