A LOCAL FAMILY REACHED OUT TO US TO help them place two angelic and ridiculously adorable teeny weeny Chihuahua.. Cookie.. and Chico. There loving human was an elderly woman who could no longer care for her itty bitty friends.. SO SAD!!! Not knowing too much about their history or temperaments we agreed having had so many Chihuahuas over the years (we've all come to LOVE the breed) and wanting so much to help out in what could have been a tragic tale! Well, we hit the jackpot.. both dogs are affectionate .. sweet and social.
Miss Cookie face has some sass and knows how to properly emit a dont mess with me vibe without even having to raise a lip.. and dogs who are thinking of invading her bubble suddenly veer off course and choose another activity! LOL!!! She appreciates an open lap and slithering into a yin/yang configuration with her trusted Chico. They can snuggle into each other to look like they are actually stitched together!!
Cookie and Chico arrived pretty clingy to one another BUT now that they have made so many new friends they aren't that keen to hang out together as they once did..in fact Cookie is a little too bossy and gets in Chicos grill more than he can stand!
Cookie is a queen.. she gets on just fine with her canine pals as long as they are polite and respectful. Given her size its understandable! She enjoys having a human lap and being the apple of her humans eye.. but she's social and enjoys her doggie companions also.
