Delilah is lavishly affectionate and possesses a highly joyful spirit! Since day one, Delilah has been bubbly saggy and reliably, extravagantly friendly! She burst onto the scene greeting everyone like beloved family members.. Her glistening sleek black coat with beautiful white makings, all kinds of shimmery, wonderfully wiggly body and a non-stop waggy tail! Delilah has amazingly bright, clear, soft, light brown eyes.. because her warm heart and kind nature shine through them!

Delilah just adores people.. it doesn't matter what you are doing or what time of day.. if she's in the company of people, she's smiling and hoping to make you smiley happy too! Delilah has a lot of solid training ... given her enthusiastic nature, we knew she'd appreciate learning to achieve the pleasure of responsive engagement with her human pals! STAR PUPIL!! She is super bright and thoroughly enjoys learning. Delilah totally rocks structured walks (inc. with her backpack on!) She is also a fan of loose leash "sniffari" excursions! She delights in following scent trails and repeatedly checks back with her handler. Delilah's favorite activities... long walks that include visiting the stables.. she greets staff and horses with her signature happy face!

Delilah is also a girl who enjoys a good playtime. She has her favorite toys.. and takes her job as The Head of Toy Destroying Department very seriously and will not allow one un-destroyed rubber toy pass by. She sticks her head into the toy basket to assess which one she'd like to take on that day! Sometimes it'll take her a few minutes of poking her head around to find just the perfect one! She then brings it over to her bed to pull apart!
With other dogs Delilah does well when meeting other dogs on a nice, loose leash. She will give them a quick under-the-chin lick and go right to the butt for a sniff. Recently, she's been a bit abrupt in her meeting of other dogs and sometimes will bark or pull towards them. This is when her obedience really comes in handy! Delilah has a tendency to overwhelm other dogs with her boisterous play style. She is not a dog park type and will likely over do it with your average neighborhood yellow lab. Delilah does have a few friends here and we always make sure to have two handlers in on the playgroup to keep things from getting too wild...that can be a moment when the other dog might misinterpret Delilahs "enthusiasm" for aggression. We don't permit energy levels to exceed a certain point.
