Demi is SO MUCH FUN!! Eager to engage and be trained to perform AMAZING tricks and demonstrate what a perfectly trained dog can do! she got her name from being what looks like a large dog on a little ones legs.. thus "half cup"! We were so intrigued by her unusual confirmation we did a DNA swab on her ..

19.2% Great Dane and 44.9 % American Pit Bull Terrier!! Who'd a thunk?!
She has comical feet that turn out in a rather unnatural looking way, a long tail, a shiny, sleek, golden, brown brindle coat and light bright eyes. She smiles LARGE and loves LIFE!

Demi looks forward to chasing after a particular giant, blue ball with a humungous knotted rope through it.. Once free in the play yard Demi makes a zippy fast beeline to the blue ball.. first shakes it for good measure as if she's waking it up.. and then delivers it to you in hopes of having a full on tug of war!! She's strong.. its a good workout! Once in a blue moon she loses her hold on the rope and then a game of fetch.. sort of... commences!! Demi runs her little legs off and she is fast!!! Once she repossesses it, she grabs hold of the rope & shakes it silly.. how she avoids clunking herself in the head with it is a mystery!!
Demi is lively and confident in most situations.. it's pretty incredible to watch her do her thing! She is a MASTER at trick training and knows quite a few tricks and obedience skills. Demi is especially good at FitPaws and the treadmill. She has incredible balance and awareness of her body.. plus she is super food motivated... The perfect combination for an exceptional trick doggie! We make sure to get Demi trick training and on the treadmill a few times a week!
Demi also can't get enough of the woods .. she can and will climb a tree in reach without hesitation! Leaps over logs easy peasy, crosses through streams, follows after a moving wheel barrow in the horse barn .. She is absolutely incredible and so much fun! Demi is a full deck!! She has brains, humor, affection, a go button that never fades until the day ends.. she is a super star of a dog! We all adore her and enjoy every moment with her. She being selective would need a home that fits her particulars! You gotta want her enough to court her.. and pay mind to her opinions and preferences.. she's always got her reasons & communicate beautifully if you'd care to listen! and Dems is worth every bit of effort we make She teaches, entertains and LOVES in return. Theres never a dull day with Dem!
Demi is seemingly always zesty & up for everything (especially if it involves a large blue ball on a rope)!!! She is a wahoo greeter.. enjoys long hikes, excels at all manner brain teaser games.. she's our demo dog for a lot of our "show off" videos featuring some entertaining tricks and ideal "how to train your dog" instructions ! She' can certainly be picky about dog pals but with her inner circle of friends she happens to be a "professional snuggler!"
