Our beautiful Emmie came first to Love Dogs about 2 1/2 years ago. She was adopted by a loving couple who absolutely adored her ( as did we! ) Sadly family life changed for her adoptive parents and felt they had to return her. They were heartbroken and sobbed as they left Emmie.. She wasn't sure what exactly was happening but remembered the farm and her friends and good times she had here! That helped a lot in making her feel comfortable! She wasn't exactly at home for the first few days but after numerous long leash sniffy walks all over the farm and into the woods out pretty hand girl started to look forward and fully enjoy her outings. She getting as much attention as she likes.. One of her typical Emmie moves is while out on a walk and stalls out on a scent her human friend squats and calls her and Emmie runs like the wind for snuggles and praise! She smiles big and leans in for more contact and then off with her handler for a quick run..
