George has got character... he is friendly and sweet.. lean and refined.. humble and mellow. George is as cool as a cucumber.. very laid back and observant, he doesn't ask for much! He's the perfect combination of active and couch potato! George enjoys long walks and romps in the yard with his MANY doggy friends.. even on a rainy day where he doesn't get much activity he'll been seen napping in his kennel always leaning up against the side with his front leg curled in and face smushed in the corner.. so precious!!
So far everything we have observed from George has been easy going, a relaxed attitude toward everything... pure love and kindness. He is gentle when he greets someone new, slowly wagging his tail from side to side as he stands about a foot away. He reaches out his nose to inspect the leg or hand of his new friend but never forwardly invades their space. George is extremely "respectful" to both humans and other dog friends.. and of course he assumes he will get the same in return! He is always happy to be involved and his relaxed demeanor adds a grounded, neutral energy to any situation.
George is super dog social and has a bunch of doggy friends! We have noticed he has a bit of lameness so he was examined by our regular Vet Dr Paul Klainbard .... After exam viewing Georges xrays Dr K recommended we we bring him to miracle worker surgeon Dr Jen Bonczynski... UPDATE: George had his much needed surgery this week and is up and walking actually putting weight on all four legs as he goes along!!!!We of course are eliminating his off leash playgroups for now but continuing long (slow) walks as usual. George is a vibrant young dog.. mature in many ways ... always soft and playful. He loves adventure, walks and exploring new scenery. He would make a fabulous companion to almost any household looking for a loving addition!

UPDATE: George recently underwent surgery on his right hip. Our wonderful and awesome orthopedic surgeon believes that his lameness could have been caused from a previous injury.. he also has some scars on his legs that point to a possible hit-by-car incident or similar. George is recovering beautifully from his surgery.. he is already bearing weight on it! George is still happy as can be even having just been through surgery and an over night stay in the vet hospital. What a trooper! Stay tuned for updates on Georgie's recovery!!
