Ginger.. one look at her sweet face and you’re hooked! With her velvety soft fur and adorable pointy ears, we think she not only has the qualities of a shiba inu, but the personality traits to match! She loves the company of all people but has found herself particularly attached to Michelle! She does have an independent streak somewhere in there too! Ginger’s natural curiosity leads her on fun parkour-like adventures all over the house!

She is bouncy and joyful while at times a bit cautious in her new surroundings. She has come a long way in the short time she has been with us. Her first introduction to the leash left her spinning trying to get it off and uncomfortable. Taking just a few slow moments and taking the time to introduce the new equipment to her has made a world of difference. Now she readily hops out of her kennel and cuddles up on your lap to have her slip lead put on and to let the adventures begin! Ginger is SO affectionate, too!

She was once skittish and looking for a way out on her walks. Now she prances and parades around the farm enjoying the sights, sounds and most importantly the smells!! She is using her nose when out and about! Just being a dog and coming into her own as a confident girl, appreciating her time with us until her forever family comes. Ginger could live with another male dog that matches her vibe. Calmer, playful dogs work best with Ginger!

When that day arrives I am sure she will continue to flourish into an amazing dog that will bring happiness to her new people!

In a few words, Ginger is beautiful, unique, resilient, fun and intelligent!
