Happy, affectionate tiger striped Gus is a good boy who thinks his life here at the farm is AWESOME! He loves meeting new dog pals and spends most of his time in playgroup with his best dog buddy Savannah or hanging out in the office with his favorite human Michelle. Treadmill, play time, group walks, hikes.. Gus is keen for adventure, he is curious, smart and eager! He also has amazing obedience skills and loves to show them off during our many workshops! If you give the command "go to your mat", Gus pops right over to his mat and lays down until you release him. One of his favorite commands!

If you are walking around the farm and run into Gus, you will see him prancing along with biggest smile on his face. Mouth open wide and tongue hanging out, enjoying every second of the day. He's is a very present dog and connects with people in such a way that makes you feel special when you are with him. Out in the yards he ready to go and SUPER FUN! His fav toy is throwing around this huge deflated ball.. no matter how gross or dirty this wubba ball is, Gus will cherish it!! He is also a top notch tennis ball fetcher!

If you sit down with Gus, he'll sit right in your lap like he's 15 lbs! He is a big time leaner. Gus is active and outgoing, but calm, affectionate and playful inside. Cuddles, long pet sessions and soft ball play inside are right up his alley!

Gus is a special, headstrong boy and we consider him one of the LoveDogs Homie's because he has some behavior quirks that can be easily misinterpreted... He often tells us how to act around him haha! Gus is loyal as loyal dogs get and sometimes his strong protection instinct can run into trouble if he's protecting someone or something that doesn't need to be protected.. if you know what i mean. Gus thinks it's his job to keep watch over his human peeps.. once you're in his circle though, you bet he'll stand by your side!  Even though Gus is a Homie, we don't believe he is "un-adoptable". All it takes is understanding and dedication to seeing Gus for who HE is and he can happily live in a home that appreciates his loyalty and respects him.
