Happy go lucky girl Jennie just arrived to Love Dogs and boy is she a HOOT! This compact stocky lady is spunky, peppy and so welcoming.. she never meets a stranger. She has a zippy and super fun energy about her.. she is ready to take on any outdoor adventure.. whether is a hike, walk through the horse barn or a dip in the stream.. Jennie is your pal to do it with! She also really enjoys car rides! Jennie is also wonderfully crate trained.
When greeting someone new, she'll totally jump up and pop her stubby front legs on your thigh as she tries desperately to reach you.. all the while her tail is wagging a mile a minute! Jennie is so well mannered and sturdy, we brought her along to an event where she happily met a bunch of new people. During the event, Jennie did something absolutely hilarious and we caught it on film! She stretched out her thick stubby hind legs and rubbed her belly back and forth on the cool grass!! Check out the video of it below!
We are still getting to know Jennie but everything we've seen so far is pure open heart and smiles! She has made a few doggy friends but does seem to want to chase and catch little dogs that ensue her inner prey drive. She has made a few doggie friends.. Finney and Snoop and will romp around with them in the yard. Our observations of Jennie's prey drive tell us that a home with cats probably wouldn't work out so well!
We recently had her in on one of our staff meetings and social butterfly Jennie took turns going around to each staff member to climb in their lap, give some kisses. Once her love session was complete with one person, she was on to the next and the ritual started all over again!
Keep checking back for updates as we get to know Jennie a bit more!
