Lotus was found as a stray with her sissy Shiloh. (well we assume they're sisters!)  The two are SO much alike it was hard for us to tell them apart at first! After a few hours it was easy as Lotus has a bit of a longer face and white on only one side of her nose. These girls both have wonderful, very innocent temperaments. Lotus is more confident in some areas while Shiloh takes the lead in others. We are exploring all options for these sweet girls to see if they should go to a home together or if they would live just as happily separately. Truth be told, we aren't sure yet but we are taking the steps to figure it out!
Lotus is very in tune with you and with what is going on around her. She's constantly checking in to make sure you're on the same page and then goes along on her merry way! I would not describe Lotus as shy but she does take have a bashful appearance when someone approaches. Her ears go back, tail hangs in a low, sweet wag and she slinks in an appeasement motion.. eager to make your acquaintance but a little cautious at the same time! Take out some treats and BOOM you will be friends with her forever!

Lotus needs someone with a little bit of understanding that all of this stuff is new to her.. walking on a leash, cars passing, busy streets.. she will need someone to help guild her as she learns to navigate these obstacles and builds confidence in herself to move through the minor fears. She has made leaps and bounds, being here only a week! She is incredibly smart, eager to please and reslient!

Lotus and Shiloh get along swimmingly! They run, wrestle, cuddle and often move as one.. even though there are two of them! Lotus gets along pretty well with other dogs especially if they are on the calmer side. She takes walks with Danny, Pogo and Ralphie and plays well with them! At first she was a bit unsure, but after some get-to-know time, they got along great.
