Sweetie, springy little Boxer Boston mix.. arrived to us seams bursting to express her sparkling, curious and affectionate personality. However, Miley was initially overwhelmed on day one when she stepped off the van.. she looked a bit puzzled.. like she was wondering where she was and why after traveling for such a long long time! ( Its an all night drive from North Carolina!) Once her doggie brain took over Miley cautiously explored with her nose to the ground .. her concerns dissolved as she processed all of the new scents of our bucolic farm environment . As is custom, we brought Miley to meet with newcomer pals Sassafras, Scooter and our awesome greeter, Muttsy.. it took all of 10 minutes for Miley to feel the other dogs calm secure content & understood that this new place was a good place.. there she was!! Her tail came out from between her legs and hasn't gone back down since!

Miley has a lot of sweetness in her.. shes has a natural lovely playful energy .. she is sensitive and has learned to stay "under the radar" when insecure.. We find she thrives beautifully with a calm deep rooted human presence .. layers of subtle defense peel away naturally as she senses her special someone is very much interested in her and offers lots of soft reassuring praise!

Miley will do best in a home that will truly notice and love on her.. She blooms with positive attention.. She is young and has appropriate energy and want to move and run and play.. to wiggle in the grass and explore! The more time invested the more she looks to be led and is quick to learn..

We are not sure where exactly Miley came from but we have observed her cower with fast hand movements. So we do think its quite possible someone was not kind to her at one point. After she realizing nothing bad is going to happen, she is all in for friendship and fun and she shows her tender .. loving self. She aches to be noticed and praised but if you aren't truly tuned in to her you might mistake her uncertainty as aloofness.. AND that is so not MILEY! She just hasnt fully come to trust the people truly care about her and can be relied on to be there for her!!!

We love this Miley baby girl sooooo much and we know theres a perfect home for her.. Miley will be one of those amazing dogs you will never forget.. she has it all in the right hands!!
