Meet our bashful darling girl Minnie! What an incredibly brave and willing little dog. She was rescued from South Carolina after she was frequently seen running loose in the neighborhood with a group of other similar looking dogs. It is believed that they all belonged to one owner but the shelter was only able to grab Minnie.
Minnie has come such a long way from that day.. She's learned that people are not as scary as they seem, the leash brings her along to awesome, fun places and, most importantly, to have loads of fun! While Minnie still has some fears that she is working through, she is so curious and craves human companionship. She goes on long walks each day and things that were once scary to her, are becoming less so. Often times while hanging out in the yard or in the living room playing with her friends, you will find Minnie taking a break from the play to sit at your side. She'll love gaze up at you with her big beautiful soulful eyes waiting for some gentle pets and attention.
Minnie adores other dogs.. they help her come out of her shell and give her a sense of safety and confidence that she can't find alone or with people just yet.. we know Minnie would do best in a home with another happy, playful companion dog. We are currently only seeking homes for Minnie who have another dog.
Minnie has so much love to give. She is a little survivor! A home that has patience to help her through the scary times but also consists of fun loving, easy energy to fill her life with joy and freedom to make her own choices would be perfect for her.
