Noah
norwich terrier mix / male /1-2 y / 13 lbs
Noah is a lively, uber adorable, scruffy, jolly and friendly little dog! He's almost too good to be real! He was for reasons we can't understand, surrendered to A C with his adorable and equally cute and friendly gal-pal, Paris.. naturally we have them both here settling in easily and seamlessly.. making friends with every dog, every human ( and horse) they meet!!! Noah is a confident the world is my oyster and Im so glad your in it kind of guy!
Noah wasn't even mildly phased by the yucky muddy ice grounds.. he went happily trundling off to explore the farm.. inside and outside! He jumped up to touch noses with the horses who leaned down to greet him! So cute!!! We visited several aisles in the barn greeting little pint sized ponies and really big horses.. Even when Noah met our sweet Sunny who kicks her gate Noah wasn't put off by her noisy demand for attention!!
Noah is not a little dog in his brain.. nor is he a giant.. he is we think, just like an middle range, average dog with a busy nose, high level of curiosity and a zest for... well pretty much EVERYTHING! He's an affectionate and playful dog, easy to befriend and impossible to ignore!! He does not want to be left alone all day waiting for his life to begin... he is so wonderfully social and easy to bring along.. Noah is a companion dog.. the more together time the better!!!
UPDATE! Noah does require activity.. he is a busy dog who truly enjoys exercise for body and brain.. he is somewhat sensitive to touch.. enjoys mindful, calm affection and is not one to be handled roughly or vigorously! He is not a dog for children due to his requirement for gentle strokes and respectful handling.
He is so pleased to be out and about.. he is wildly playful with his BFF Paris! (seen in photos below) They play with gusto sometimes even sounding like they are quarreling but they aren't... they play in short intense bursts and then almost as though they've whispered an agreement to one another to stop the game & get busy noses , trundling along side by side as if there hadn't been an interruption of play! From what we have seen they are well behaved around food and treats.. fine sharing.. bumping into each other .. no reaction. Noah decided to bark at a man on a ladder .. until he was reassured we had the matter in hand! Hes kind of ridiculous.. but his a cute, quirky little dog who would benefit by having some consistent routines, a healthy way to burn some energy and a friend that will provide leadership with kindness! Oh.. and he will do just about anything for a tasty treat!
