Oh my goodness, Riqui is absolutely IRRESISTIBLE! Just look at that face... his little "werewolf fangs”, big beautiful, deep eyes and perfectly pointy ears! Weighing in at only 5 lbs, Riqui will go to great lengths, including dancing on his hind legs, to get attention and some loving!!
He is wildly affectionate, always keeping an eye on us and his doggy friends looking for an opening to either initiate play or squeeze into our laps! He realllllly loves butt scratches, too! Lol! Riqui has a gorgeous white coat and fluffy curl tail. The hair around his neck is just a wee bit longer then the rest so he’s got this luxurious neck tuft! |

Riqui will steal your heart in an instant, no doubt. He is a very well rounded and easy going chi. The first day he was here he kept a bit of distance from us. It was a long, overstimulating day! We gave him his space, of course. We were expecting to come into a shy Riqui the next day.. NOPE! Boy were we wrong! He was as outgoing as ever! Riqui has greeted us with hops, skips and pure joy ever since!
Riqui has a great time with his chihuahua buddies, Dagwood and Muchacho. Especially him and Dagwood.. they are quite close friends. Often found licking each other’s ears and wrestling in the most adorable chihuahua way. Give them a soft blanket and they will instantly start up! Riqui won’t only just play with his mates, he will often turn to include us, too! Dropping into a precious playbow with his mouth wide open making little playful noises even pawing at our hards! He is a super social boy and we LOVE IT!! |

Riqui likes to be outside enjoying the sunshine and nature, too. We are working on getting him to walk on a leash as this is not something he’s ever done before! He is learning super fast, he’s such smarty pants!!
After some play and outside time, Riqui settles down and will nap for a little while. Although he adores companionship and to be close, he doesn’t seem to have separation anxiety or anything like that. He’s happy to go to his space and relax when it’s time to.
