Oh dear sweet Rosie! What a personality packed into a compact rolly poly bulldog wrinkly body! Rosie is a hilarious mix of independent, affectionate and preciously adorable with the typical bulldog stubbiness to top her off! Rosie does.. well.. what Rosie wants! If she wants to go for a walk.. she will! If not, she will stand her ground without wavering until you walk her in the direction SHE wants to go in. If she wants to cuddle, she'll come sit right on your lap! Otherwise she'd like to lay in her bed unbothered! We just ADORE this wise, funny lady!
Sweetie Rosie gives us gentle licks to say hello when we walk in with her teeny tail quickly wagging back and fourth in pure happiness. She snores, snarfles and slowly moves about her business. Rosie will never turn down a butt scratch or a playtime with her favorite pink piggy toy!
Rosie is a pure bred English bulldog that was surrendered by her owner because they had children and couldn't give Rosie the attention she needs. When Rosie arrived, her skin was in bad shape. She had a horrible skin infection, double ear and eye infection. A few baths, skin routine and medications later, Rosie's skin is looking fabulously healthy and radiant! Rosie will need regular vetting and upkeep to keep her skin allergies at bay.
Rosie did previously live with another dog but has shown us to be a bit forward with the dogs we have introduced her to at the rescue. We think it is possible for her to live with another quiet, calm dog so long as their personalities match up! Rosie cannot live with cats or children, however.
