Rufus is a star.. he is a heart melter for us humans.. sweet, snuggle bunny, lover.. he has the most endearing way of cuddling his way into your lap.. that little black nose of his gently taking in whatever information there's to be had along your neck and cheek!! He's so soft in his approach and silky soft under your hand.. pitter patter!!! Its hard to tell exactly when you fell in love with this perfect boy! Rufus wins everyone over.. even people who think they only really like "big" dogs!! He is such goodness through and through!!
Out with his chums.. Rufus is always ready for fun and frolic.. in fact he will often be the one to lead the charge.. and he makes a point to invite everyone to join in his games.. even our dear old Ozzie.. Rufus seems to extend a special kind of invitation!! Rufus is a brilliant get along pal.. has all the manners and finesse you'd dream of.. he's like the mayor of Chi-Village.. he seems to know exactly how to welcome and socialize with everyone to maximize harmony and good will!

Rufus is attuned to his handlers.. (aka friends).. he frequently looks up at you to check in.. kinda like.. "hey isn't this a great walk we're having..?" He likes very much to feel connection. He isn't an in your face doggie, (unless of course you invite him!) But he definitely enjoys interacting in all sorts of ways..  He's a true friend as only a dog can be.. he will cheer you up when you need cheering uo, he'll cuddle into you when you need a hug, he'll be silly and fun when you're ready to play.. he's really, in our opinion perfect in every way!
