Gabel was a afraid of the sudden newness on his first day here.. he and his cutie bro Twain, wanted more time to get acquainted with all the new people, the sweeping wide open fields, horses , tractors, koi pond, collars and what the heck...leashes!!! Because we are all about trust and connection before anything else.. we gave these two little brothers extra time.. we waited for them to approach us.. like most scared dogs as soon as he learned that we all speak DOG and realized we were listening and respectful.. the tail came out from between his hind legs.. his mouth opened and his cute black nose got busy reading the scented "tour guide" of his new digs!! In one short week Gabel has become comfortable with leashing.. enjoys exploring the farm with his pack of merry mates and is convinced that humans are treat dispensing massage therapists who truly enjoy a good conversation!!
