Tiger Lily was originally adopted from us about six years ago and was recently returned due to unforeseen circumstances. We have had Lily here for about a month now and she is doing really well settling into her routine! Lily has some anxieties and fear of being separated from any human that we are working through and she is doing amazing given the recent, drastic change in her life. We are looking for a foster or permanent home that is ready to dedicate their days to be a loving companion to this incredible pint sized honey of a dog!
From the minute she arrived back to us, she has been remarkably well tempered and so unbelievably easy in so many ways! Tiger Lily is friendly with every person or child she meets… seriously we haven't met anyone that she doesn't greet with confidence and happy, soft tail wags! Even walking through Home Depot while there was machinery clanking and people walking about, she was cool as a cucumber! She sat politely while a 2 year old gently pet her and laid down while we were waiting in line to cash out. What a good girl!  She adores spending time with trainer Jamie and her 18 month old son Keaton, too! Check out videos below!!

Lily has a calm, playful demeanor and is incredibly agreeable! When walking she will trot right by your side on a loose leash without a care in the world. Every once in a while she may bark at a passing dog, especially if the dog barks at her first. But she is easily redirected and moves on quickly. She gets along well with dogs that have an easy going, puppy like play style. Lily would not appreciate being with a bold or forward type dog. Two of her best mates are Opie and Henry (Henry was recently adopted). They would play in the pool for hours! Lily is a BIG fan of the water!
We were surprised at just how easy going this little lady can be when it comes with switching environments and/or companions. For an anxious doggie, you would think she would get strongly attached to certain people to places but honestly she just wants human company in any shape or form! When left alone, Lily feels extremely vulnerable... it seems she gets a lot of her confidence from us humans! We try to not leave her alone unless it is with a purpose and working within the parameters of her training goals. Otherwise, she gets passed off between handlers for walks, play time or paid back hanging out on the day bed!

We understand that owning a dog with anxiety complexities can be a bit intimidating. We promise that coming out to meet Lily will be so worth it. She is a marvelous little dog with a lot of love to give and she will certainly give it unconditionally!
